How to Replace the Internal Controller

Removing the Internal Vector Controller

  1. Unscrew the 6 screws on the edges of the controller.
  2. Carefully unplug the three coloured phase wires
  3. Unplug the 6-pin hall sensor plug. Make sure to push on the little tab so that it comes out easily.
  4. Remove the controller.

Installing the Internal Vector Controller

From the motor, there is a 6-pin hall sensor plug and three coloured phase wires. Follow these steps to install the controller, or follow the video.

  1. Plug in the 6-pin hall sensor plug
  2. Plug in the three coloured phase wires. The order is yellow, blue, and green from the top left to the top right of the controller.
  3. Push the controller into the motor in a way that it fits nicely and is not resisting your push.
  4. Align the controller holes and tighten the 6 screws on the edges.
